Latifa Saeed is a multidisciplinary Emirati artist and designer whose practice spans visual arts, graphic design, branding, and product design. Each of her projects begins with in-depth research, documentation, and archiving of various objects and materials, which informs her material-based approach. Saeed’s work responds to the evolving landscape of the UAE while drawing on her nostalgic memories. Her practice explores cultural heritage and preservation by contemporizing traditional craft techniques.
Important exhibitions include Beyond Emerging Artists, Art Abu Dhabi (2023); MANAR, Public Art, Abu Dhabi (2023); and Under Construction, MISK Art Fund, Riyadh (2021). She was also a finalist for the Richard Mille Art Prize hosted by Louvre Abu Dhabi (2021) and received a grant from the MISK Art Institute (2021).
Saeed holds a BA in Arts and Sciences from Zayed University (2007).
